Vaccine Clinic at Ted's Pet & Feed-Schererville

For dogs greater than 6 months of age:

• Brief Examination
• Rabies, 1 year (additional $15 for 3 year and must have proof of previous rabies vaccination)
• Distemper/Parvo 4-in-1, 1 year (additional $15 for 3 year)
• +/Leptospirosis, 1 year *If this is the initial vaccine, a booster is required in 2-4 weeks
• Heartworm test (additional $15 for tick borne disease screening or additional $110 for full blood work evaluating organ values, blood cell counts & tick disease screen)

For dogs 6-11 weeks of age:

• Brief Examination
• Distemper/Parvo 4-in-1 *This requires a booster every 2-4 weeks until 16-20 weeks of age
• Dewormer *This will treat for roundworms and hookworms, but if broader coverage is needed due to a positive fecal screening, additional charges may apply.

For dogs 12-15 weeks of age:

• Brief Examination
• Distemper/Parvo 4-in-1 *This requires a booster every 2-4 weeks until 16-20 weeks of age
• +Leptospirosis, *Booster is required in 2-4 weeks
• Dewormer *For initial visits only. Puppies who have been previously dewormed should be on monthly prevention. This will treat for roundworms and hookworms, but if broader coverage is needed due a positive fecal screening, additional charges may apply. 

For dogs greater >16 weeks, but <6 months of age:

• Brief Examination
• Rabies, 1 year
• Distemper/Parvo 4-in-1, 1 year 
• +/- Leptospirosis, 1 year *If this is the initial vaccine, a booster is required in 2-4 weeks
• Dewormer *For initial visits only. This will treat for roundworms and hookworms, but if broader coverage is needed due to a positive fecal screening, additional charges may apply.  

For dogs who attend training classes, dog parks, boarding or grooming facilities: 

• Brief Examination
• Intranasal Bordetella +Adeno +Parainfluenza, 1 year
• H3N2/H3N8 Influenza, 1 year *If this is the initial vaccine, a booster is required in 2-4 weeks.

For dogs who hike, hunt, spend time in heavily wooded areas or have had ticks in the past: 

• Brief Examination
• Lyme, 1 year *If this is the initial vaccine, a booster is required in 2-4 weeks.
• Tick Borne Disease Exposure Screening (additional $100 for full blood work evaluating red and white blood cell counts, liver, kidney and thyroid function and tick borne disease exposure)
