In-Home Euthanasia Services: End-of-Life Care for Pets

In-Home Euthanasia

We understand that choosing euthanasia as part of end-of-life care to relieve suffering is a challenging decision, but we are here to support you. By offering in-home euthanasia services, we aim to reduce some of the stress for both you and your pet that can arise from transporting them to a veterinary clinic. Additionally, we provide various pet aftercare options to help you during this difficult time.

Appointments

We understand that your pet's health may decline rapidly, especially during times when you may be considering end-of-life care. While we strive to accommodate same-day appointments for services like in-home euthanasia, we cannot guarantee immediate availability. Additionally, we offer various pet aftercare options to support you during this difficult time.

What to Expect

An injection will be given to sedate your pet, allowing them to calm during this sensitive time of end-of-life care. In most cases, an IV catheter will be placed after the initial injection; however, for animals that are ill, this may not always be feasible. A second injection will then be administered to allow your pet to peacefully pass away, ensuring that you have the option of in-home euthanasia and suitable pet aftercare options.

After Care

As a sign of our sympathy and our desire to provide you with a cherished memory of your pet, we offer a complimentary paw print and hair clipping if you wish. We understand the importance of end-of-life care during this difficult time, and we provide various pet aftercare options to help you honor your beloved companion.

Private Cremation - Your pet is transported to Faithful Companion, who specializes in cremation, and the ashes are returned to you the next day.

Communal Cremation - Your pet is transported to Faithful Companion, and the ashes are spread at a designated memorial for pets that have passed.

Home Burial - You may choose to provide a home burial; however, please check your local ordinances to ensure this is permitted prior to making arrangements. Additionally, we offer in-home euthanasia to ensure your pet's comfort during their final moments.

Payment

All in-home euthanasia services for end-of-life care are pre-paid, allowing you to focus completely on your pet during this difficult time, while also considering various pet aftercare options.
