End-of-Life Care

We understand that choosing euthanasia to relieve suffering is a challenging decision, but we are here to support you. By providing in-home euthanasia services, we hope to alleviate some of the inherent stress for you and your pet that could exist in transporting your pet and having them at the veterinary clinic. 

We understand that your pet's health may decline rapidly. We will do our best to accommodate same-day appointments, but can not guarantee immediate availability. 

An injection will be given to sedate your pet and allow them to calm. In most cases, an IV catheter will be placed after the initial injection, but in animals that are ill, this can not always be performed. A second injection will be given that allows your pet to peacefully pass away. 

As a sign of our sympathy and our desire to provide you with a memory of your pet, we offer a complimentary paw print and hair clipping if you desire. 

There are a variety of options for after care for your pet. 

• Private Cremation- Your pet is transported to Faithful Companion, who specializes in cremation and ashes are returned next day. 
• Communal Cremation- Your pet is transported to Faithful Companion and ashes are spread at a designated memorial for pets that have passed. 
• Home Burial- You may elect to provide home burial, but check your local ordinances to ensure this is allowed prior. 

All in-home euthanasia services are pre-paid so that your undivided attention can be with your pet.
